Swanky, there are styles in every form of expression, music, art, etc. Surely style doesn't make something original. More like a signature. The more obvious answer, YOU recognize it because you're on this board, and look at pics of this stuff quite often. That is how you recognize the various styles. Pretty obvious.

DawnTiki,I enjoy the process, reguardless of what I'm painting. Very zen. As far as peoples reactions, I have no control over any of that. Obviously if they like it, they give me money. It's all objective, I guess I don't think much about what it will mean to the purchaser. Art is a personal choice. People use art for a variety of different reasons. It's out of my hands at that point.
