Matt, You bring up an interesting point. When I was learning to play this or that instrument by learning other people's tunes, I remember thinking "I'll never be able to write my own tunage, it must be too hard". Well, truth be told, it's easier than learning someone else's tune because if you play your own music wrong, who the hell knows - it's your music! (unfortunately, all my songs sound like Herman's Hermits) |
