The good thing about these small ones is they will die at some point in the event, and then you don't have to mess with the sticky shaved ice anymore.

There might be a place that rents bigger ones for fairs and stuff like that in your area as well this type of place will sell the syrup you need as well.

You could shave up a large amount and put in the freezer to be ready when event starts as well, do a test to see how well this works days before though.

It might just refreeze back into a huge ice snowball that you can't break up.
