Don't be too proud for a gofundme campaign to help cover repair costs for this; no doubt there are plenty of tiki people who would contribute to preserve Kahiki history.

Maybe Mark Sellers of TikiCat, the one who bought the Reichek tiki collect over a year ago, could take it off your hands for use in his next project....
