Apart from Tiki Central and FOM, the existing big events likely have extensive mailing lists that could be licensed. And those events are scheduled well in advance, so any new tiki event would be wise to establish a presence at Hukilau, Tiki Kon, Oasis, Caliente, Luau etc. to promote the event and lock in as many pre-sale memberships as possible. Such strategies are well-established. Having some committed headlining Guests of Honor doesn't hurt, either.
