This is a fantastic thread. Thanks for all the great pictures. I spent a good portion of my childhood in Honolulu ('54-64), so this brought back long forgotten memories. the Hawaiian Village was THE place in Waikiki. All the celebrities that passed through stayed there.
My family never ate dinner there, it was very expensive, but we would go walk around and gawk at the tourists. Those were the days.
