The event season is heating up! April is loaded with cool happenings: Three major rum festivals, five great surf shows, three Tiki marketplaces, Viva Las Vegas, the Chicago Area Tiki Tour, plus more! http://www.slammie.com/atomicgrog/blog/2017/04/01/the-tiki-times-april-2017-events-calendar/
We also have expanded previews of two spotlight events: April 19-23 – Miami Rum Festival and Trade Expo at the DoubleTree Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center.
The ninth annual gathering of rum experts, professionals and enthusiasts, featuring a grand tasting of hundreds of cane spirits, the RumXP Awards, seminars featuring industry insiders, plus more special events. The main events are on Saturday and Sunday, April 22-23, at the convention center but there’s also a Tiki welcome party on April 19 at The Mai-Kai and industry events all week as part of the Trade Expo.
April 28-30 – Chicago Area Tiki Tour featuring a bar crawl of the Windy City’s best Tiki bars, presented by the Fraternal Order of Moai.
