After seeing the more recent North American Trader Vic's ventures go out of business in Scottsdale, Dallas, Los Angeles, Destin, Palo Alto, Las Vegas, Portland, etc., maybe they held a strategy meeting at corporate, and decided the problem was... the prices just weren't high enough. They determined not to make that mistake with their online merchandise sales.
