LoriLovesTiki thank you. It's a failure because I can't use it because it ran and huge drips of glaze form on the bottom. I love that color but I have to resort to a different type of glaze and color to make this work. Bummer.

VampiressRN ahhh, you are such a sweetheart. If you didn't keep the crawl going I wouldn't have a place for these mugs. So thank you big time.

RVICTOR what does work is using a CY glaze for most of the mug but wipe off the areas to be painted with the CN glaze. This is a lot of work but the finished mug is terrific.

slowhandtikiman I thank you and RVICTOR thanks you for liking his design of the Tiki Modern mug.

Progress on the Sacramento (Cap City) Crawl Mug

The mug was based on this old phone book ad.

I decided that it would make the best picture for the signature card. I've printed 70 of them for the crawl mugs. I reserve the right to possibly make 30 more mugs in different colors before I break the mold.

Here are 66 of the mugs. All scrubbed and lined up for photos.

It was fun to finally line them up together. For those group photos. Now they are covered and protected from dust.

On Monday Woody Miller aka Wood Tiki aka the artist and his wife Jessica came to pick up his mug and to tour Dan's tiki collection. Here are some fun photos from the visit. I wish I'd gotten a photo of them with the mug.

We had so much fun. Tiki people rock! Cheers, Wendy
