Did you use a special bit for that, or just one of the ones that comes in the set? You're very right about the post - it's nasty stuff and I have a feeling I won't carve another one of these when I finish this one. I'm on the lookout for the untreated poles too, so if I find any, I'll be sure to post where they are.
