If google it, you'll find that the "Lionel Barrymore's outstanding waterfront etchings" on the card backs are pretty generic fishermen's village stuff, and have nothing to do with Kon-Tiki or Tiki.

But I have that box too, and I love the Polynesian Pop poetry of the text in the lid…I tried to quote it in my Beachcomber chapter, but did not have enough space.

And remember! :
"The hand-blown glass float, placed gem-like in the Kontiki lid, is an authentic artfact and maybe hundred of years old. No one really knows…" Oooooh! :lol:
