Help tiki carving has broken feet! - Tiki Carving

Not my choice by far but now I want to see if there is something that can be done before cutting his feet off. Haha. 4wd I don't know much about age of the palm, I have a pile of logs that were given to me. Some so dry I don't think that are carve able some still wet inside and some that don't seem wet till u get in deeper. Also not sure if living in the super dry az heat contributes more to the cracking what do you guys think? Thanks fastbackadam
