Doesn't matter in the end because the point of Oasis is to have fun...which it seems everyone does regardless of theme. Every year people bitch, bitch, bitch -- oh that's not tiki, oh South of the Border - that's not tiki, oh Spytiki--that's not tiki, this year is Hulabilly not Hillbilly how dare you think differently!! blah, blah, blah It does not matter. And if you think it does DON'T GO. Please..stay home and let the rest of us have a blast. The bands are booked, the hotel is full, volunteers are waiting for their assignments and Tiki Oasis is just over 2 months away.
