Hale- loving the look you've got going there and excited to see it come to life Zero - great progress shots and really enjoying the story your piece is telling Very well, I've completed my Maori-inspired PAIKEA The cool thing about the split-bamboo mat is that it can easily be hung as a traditional painting on the wall -or- displayed upright on a shelf like this: You can even get creative and make a lighting feature out of it... Here I just quickly tossed a bare bulb behind the painting. The light peeks through the split bamboo. The photo doesn't fully capture the live look but it's quite cool in person. So, there she is... Finished and awaiting her new collector. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I have in bringing it to life. Peace, Jason <

Very well, I've completed my Maori-inspired PAIKEA

The cool thing about the split-bamboo mat is that it can easily be hung as a traditional painting on the wall -or- displayed upright on a shelf like this:
