The idea behind building this one was to create a low-buck, late '50s, early '60s custom (with a few modern upgrades). The caved in top was immediately cut off and the window channels were filled (the top will later be replaced by a removable carson top.) Emblems, door handles, and side trim were shaved; the frame was stepped up in the rear and was air bagged- coils were cut to lower the front; '56 Olds taillights were frenched in, and the caps you see in the pic are '57 Caddys.
