Glass and metal contract/expand at different temps so the warm water for metal and cool water for the glass simultaneously should do the trick. My mom keeps a small square scrap of that rubbery stuff they use to keep rugs from skidding in the kitchen drawer. Works great to grab a hold of lids. |
