That is part of the freedom of having my own Tiki blog.

Thanks for the feedback

I'm not making judgement on what is or isn't someone else's idea of what Tiki is or isn't.
There are many things that different people will argue over and discuss whether they fall under their definition of what is and what isn't Tiki. So my blog may at times disappoint and yet again there may be someone out there that sees something
they like that isn't approved Tiki to add to their collection. One man's crap is another man's treause like at a garage sale.

I'm just posting what I come across without making judgements on it ---in my own blog. Some people will like it.
Some people will not,,,,, The Family luau that I went to for example was a BUST compare to the expectations that I had for it being a more traditional Luau and Luau entertainment.... Old ladies from Seizure World doing Hula isn't my good idea of a Luau isn't what I wanted to see......But that was what was there.. I reported on it and the K-mart looking ad type Tikis and Caribbean whatever that was there. I'm just doing a blog that interests me in particular and may or may not interest other people. I thought it was kind of funny going there expecting one thing and ending up with what was there...

Who decided that Burlesque or half a dozen other things are Tiki or Not? I don't think Burlesque is Tiki? but it is a major part of Oasis......(Not that I'm complaining mind you---kudos to it making its way into TIKI)

My blog is just fun for me to share Tiki in all its approved or non approved forms in a blog.......Which I took advise to only now occassionally posts links to. I happen to like Surf music (mainly instrumental surf---that is why I first went to Oasis a couple of years ago)....I like the Southern California Lifestyle of living near the beach and being active and enjoying the beach community .......So my blog reflects that as well.......I also love Hawaii and Hawaiian stuff since I got married over there and have continued to embrace Hawaiian things....I guess just look at my blog as a celebration if things TIKI and (non-approved Tiki) --Some Surf --some Hawaiian---some Beach Lifestyle in General.

Think of the name the Pineappleman's Tiki blog as just that ....A name ....and not a statement of what is Tiki.....
