What I did today: the start of the bamboo bike....
Basically I cut up a $5 garage sale bike & got some construction grade bamboo (enough for 2 frames) for $20. I need to go back & get some thinner sections for the seat & chain stays, get new tubes & some better tires,and some JB Weld to glue it all together. And that seat is horrible...it's gotta go too. |
