I simply wanted to announce the creation of what hopefully will be dubbed by avid collectors around the world as THE ULTIMATE TIKI MUG COLLECTORS Facebook Community Web Page. My name is Mike Gangi. I am an avid collector of Tiki from Madeira Beach, Florida and currently serving in the United States Navy. Tiki collecting....the thrill of the hunt so to speak...has become a part of my lifestyle and I wanted to build a community focused on the good times and cheer that TIKI CAN BRING! If you have a Facebook account, please visit the site and join! I will be looking for some other people to help with the admin part of the site in the future as it grows. If you are interested just drop me a line! My plan is to try and make this the premier collectors site on Facebook...a place where Ooga-Mooga frequenters can share their love of collecting and living the lifestyle! Hope to see you there! The site is:

Aloha Mike!
Good luck with the new site brada, I really hope it works out. I visit OM as much as possible to see all the great new finds of both vintage and newer revival mugs that are out there and to have another place to check out is cool with me..
I started collecting Tiki Farm back in 2000 along with a couple vintage mugs I obtained through thrift shops and garage sales. The last few years I've been collecting more ReViVaL mugs from some of the great artists I have met through TC and Facebook and treasure them all as if they were vintage from a long gone tiki temple from way back when...
As ron-tiki said earlier, vintage mugs have a sort of feeling to them, totally agree.. I love to imagine being back in that tiki bar/ restaurant back in the day as I'm drinking out the mug from there. The newer mugs also are special in a way that I can really appreciate all the work that goes into each of these mugs from sculpting to glazing, unreal...
