A little searching through Google archives brings us this from 1974:

http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=i3kyAAAAIBAJ&sjid=fbcFAAAAIBAJ&pg=4459,1999770&dq=moon+garden+fort+pierce&hl=en

Article about the farm near the Moon Garden in Ft. Pierce. Son Oakley (whom is the person I messaged on facebook) was farming it then. Mentions that his father left to run the Titusville restaurant due to slow business at the Moon Garden. Also mentions the shuttered Moon Garden.

Wonder if the whole story about him closing it due to the death of his daughter is true? Or maybe his son just told the paper that it was slow business to avoid talking about his dad's superstitions??

Haven't heard from Oakley, but then again it is facebook and he's approching 70 years old... I'm sure facebook isn't his main priority in life.

Haven't made it to Moon Islander (dress shop in Jensen) yet....
