Howlinowl, good luck with your line of pursuit. It would be great if a surviving family member would be willing to add their story. My online searches indicate quite a few of Moon and Ella May's children still reside in the Fort Pierce area. I'm still hoping someone, somewhere can contribute clear photographs of the Moon Islander and even the Moon Garden. A menu scan of the Moon Garden would also be interesting... what food and drink offerings were a precursor for the Moon Islander? The internet is an amazing source of information, as Bigbrotiki observed, but sometimes the only way to get answers is by feet on the ground.

Bongo, its great to know your son found a job is this dismal economy. You'll find that there's a lot of beautiful coastline, rivers and lakes in central Florida, especially on the Space Coast. South Brevard is a fine location, with plenty to do.
