The next meeting of the SF Planning Commission was to be set for Feb. 10th. However, there are no minutes (or agendas) posted, even though certainly agendas are required to be posted by the CA Brown-Stirling open meeting act.

The Case Study report, on pg. 11, states:

"At  the  time  of  writing,  there  is  an  effort  by  preservation  advocates  to  designate  the  Tonga  Room,  a Polynesian‐themed and  rare  example  of  the  Polynesian  and  Tiki  designs  that  attained  popularity  at  midcentury.  Recent evaluations of the Tonga Room agree that it is eligible for the California Register.
