I, once again, disagree. The original 5-0 pilot was dark, and a bit twisted, especially for the 60's. Wo Fat, and that isolation tank...it made me uncomfortable just watching it.
Danno was different actor, and so were a few other things, but I think it was a great episode.

I agree. Interesting that it was a different actor who played Danny. What happened to him? A firing akin to Pete Best?

And Kam had not yet gotten the Chin Ho character perfected. He was a bit goofy. That changed quickly though.

Otherwise a great episode and it always freaks me out as well.

Check out the movie, The Manchurian Candidate- Frank Sinatra vs Wo Fat, or at least a similiar character played by the same actor.
