Just what the world needs: ANOTHER Zombie recipe! Well, I've developed this for my restaurants here in the midwest. With 18 locations, I needed a recipe that fits some requirements: It has to taste good. The fewer the added inventory items, the better. The price point has to be acceptable. It can't be too complicated to make. It needs to be different than our other offerings.

I based on the 1950 recipe found in Sippin' Sufari.

ZOMBIE
Place one teaspoon BROWN SUGAR into a rocks glass and add 1/2 oz FRESH LEMON JUICE and 1/2 oz FRESH LIME JUICE. Set this aside as the brown sugar dissolves.

Over-fill a glass mug with ice and dump the ice into a shaker and add:

1 oz FINEST CALL PASSION FRUIT PUREE
1 oz APPLETON ESTATES V/X
1 oz BACARDI SILVER
1 oz CREME DE BANANA
1 oz SPRITE (measure this)

Using rocks glass with the dissolved sugar brown sugar as your top, shake all ingredients fully and pour into galss mug. Top with:

Heavy splash of BACARDI 151 RUM
Three Drops of PEYCHAUD'S BITTERS

Garnish with a six leaf sprig of mint.

OK... not enough 151, not the right rums, what the hell is Creme de Banana doing in there, Sprite-really?, and it's supposed to be a chimmney glass... but, if I do say so myself, it's a darn good drink.
