I think personal malady is damn near a must have for any artist. Look at Joe Coleman. If it wasn't for art, many people would probably be dead at his hands by now. I (of course) have no personal maladies and am completely well adjusted. I'm gonna say that art is serious therapy for most. Sometimes the outlet is enough and sometimes it becomes a trap in itself. Big Toe has given me advice regarding my art and why it disturbs him. I think he's off his nut. And He has never punched my kids. I don't let them hang around Kenny though, for obvious reasons.
