Kenner is also home to a Tiki themed tattoo parlor, where I got my Moai tattoos done. At the time I got my ink done there, it wasn't Tiki themed yet, but I claim no influence on the makeover.

I am rather curious, how did you wind up in Kenner, in the first place???

My friend Misha is a tattoo artist. She and her man Todd lived in Detroit for a while, then moved to Chicago, then New Orleans, then LA (they just arrived in LA this summer; after about 3 years each in Chicago and N.O.). She tattooed me when she was working at Body Basics in Chicago. So, when I was in NO with Royal Crown Revue (I worked for them for a while) a couple of years later, I made it a point to go out to Kenner so Misha could do some more work on me.

BTW, this was after about zero hours of sleep, because the bartender of Shim Sham (a gal by the name of Patty) is a pal of mine too, and the owner os Shim Sham is a pal of Eddie (singer from RCR), so with our combined pull we managed to drink free until 7 AM. Then our T-shirt guy and me got into a cab, went to Kenner, and got tattooed. Yes, sounds more like a story from my days with Ministry than RCR... but you asked...
