There's no rhyme or reason for the hook to point one way or the other, it all depends on the bone. Just a small update for the week. I'm hoping to enjoy my 3-day weekend, so this will probably be it for the near future. This was a commission piece, and my first dolphin, though sharks and dolphins share a lot of geometry. The main difference between sharks and dolphins are the nose and orientation of the tail. I added the waves to make the design circular. Close-up, maybe the nose could have been a little narrower.
