Note: the snow all melted, - you folks in the south are so fortunate.

Now introducing

Piglet hammer.

Loosely interpreted from some smaller pighammers on display at the Chicago Field Museum. It is just about a foot long. It has a bit of a curve to it, but it came from a "Y" of a elm tree branch. I have cut a lot of firewood and it is amazing how few trees have just the right combination of size and angle to make one of these.
