Along with the recipe for Trader Vic's Navy Grog (posted) I also got the bartender to give me the recipe for this yummy gin based drink.

TRADER VIC'S POGO STICK

2 oz Gin
1 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup

As usual, it makes all the difference in the world if you use fresh squeezed juices or juices that are not from concentrate. I don't normally like the taste of grapefruit but if the drink is made properly it does not stand out and is more like, "what is in there anyways?"
