Luau Beverly Hills is closed. - General Tiki

The Wife and I are going to be in Beverly Hills for a couple of days on our way to Palm Springs for our fall vacation. We were planing to spend an evening at Luau. We are staying at the Hilton that has a TV's bar in it-where else in the LA/Beverly Hills should we visit now? Any thoughts?? Is it true that you weren't allowed to drink or eat at the bar at Luau? Thought that I read that somewhere. We are bar flies-we often like to eat at the bar instead of taking a table. You get to know the bartenders, how they mix drinks, and they get to know how you like yours mixed. Sometimes you even get freebies :wink:
