I picked up a couple matchbooks, actually 6 on 03/15 From left to right: The Lady Alexandra was a floating paddleboat restaurant permanently moored in front of the Blue Moon Saloon, until one of the big 80's storms that devistated the pier area wrecked it. The showboat was crushed along the breakwall it was moored to, and after the calm of the storm was a declared a total loss, and sinking slowly. It was immediately towed out to sea a few miles out and sunk. This new artificial reef was what the Redondo fishing Barge moored to, for that "deep sea" fishing adventure. The barge has since been removed long ago, and nothing marks the former themed floating restaurant. |
