Each state regulates alcohol, and certainly there are states looking to increase revenue. Perhaps California has added an additional "sin tax" on alcohol. Or maybe suppliers and distributors have increased prices in California.

But that's not the case here in Indiana. And in this economy, we are not raising prices. Not by a long shot. Many are lowering retails. And on the food side, commodities are definitely lower this year.

I do not begrudge any business their right to make decisions. As to whether they are good decisions or bad decisions, only time will tell.
