Passed by this pretty dramatic A-Frame apartment building in Seal Beach the other day. The Lava rock walls on either side makes me think that this was Tiki back in the day, given it's location in Seal beach, pretty close to the ocean. Lots of nice Mid Century architecture apartments in the area, but this one really caught my eye.

Note the lava rock walls on either side of the entrance.

Nice concrete block mosaic walls on either side of the entrance.

The entrance way had a wall of terrazzo tiles.

The pool inside was a classic kidney shape with a planter bed shaped like a sharp boomerang (didn't get a photo of it) The pool was empty and the inside stripped of it's vegetation...The building seemed to be going through a renovation.

Given the name of the apartment building, it makes me think that it would be great if they had Marina the mermaid swimming in the pool :D

Address is 350 Marina way in Seal Beach. Any info on this, anyone ?
