WHY am I constantly misinterpreted as being rude? It was a very simple question, about your statement

motivated by the fact that this website is PRIMARILY about Polynesian POP CULTURE, not about

"10,000 years of native arts, dancing, and the culture..."

--which, as Sabu noted, does come to play here too, (as seen in the links I posted here earlier), but not primarily. I myself have often stated the importance of considering original Oceanic Art (and have been denounced as a "Puritan" for that here), and posted at least two or three threads about some of the great Oceanic Art collections in European museums. But I do not come to this website to find info about it. That's why I asked.
