Finally making some headway on these Tiki Temples! Seems like I've been working on them forever and have nothing to show for them. 25 hours plus of research and preparation work before I even get to carving on them! Most elements of construction are drawn out... beams, roofs, stonework, trim. Friday I start carving. The foundation of it all is cut out and ready to go, but all elements have to be created and finished before everything will be assembled. Maybe in a few days I can get some pictures of the carved work. More soon... :) |
