So here is my second attempt.


Used a 6in piece of cedar.
as far as tools i used a small straight 85deg curved chisel, a 3/8in scoop a 1/8in scoop and some fine grit SP for the finishing along with a dremel for evening out the base, getting rid of a few rough spots and a general smoothing.
Any tips or whatnots would be appreciated.
