Aloha, Vic Why not just crush the ice with an ice crusher and then blend the drink? I do that with a vintage Waring Blendor single speed and I have no problems with the motor. It seems to me that the drinks might be over blended or too much like a slushy if you use ice cubes in your blender drinks.

Why not just crush the ice with an ice crusher and then blend the drink? I do that with a vintage Waring Blendor single speed and I have no problems with the motor. It seems to me that the drinks might be over blended or too much like a slushy if you use ice cubes in your blender drinks.
