The Samoa's logo Tiki face in the A-frame gable looks Maori, but has a Hawaiian head dress (!?), better seen on the menu cover. I have seen that face together with that "Samoa" typeface somewhere before...perhaps on a matchbook that I don't own.

I found this matchbook picture from the Samoa - same type of typeface but way different logo than the menu and the image on the front of the building. Maybe these figures were inside?
