Really Excellent looking tiki and I'm with Howland in that it's one of the Finest tikis shown on TC for a long time. The next one looks to be as good or better. Broken legs, No Big deal as long as you doweled them with any hardwood dowels and used a good wood glue. What kind of wood is this? It actually looks like it is Spaulted, or has a beautiful fungus growing in it. That makes the wood Beautiful but can weaken it considerably. I have been known to "Dowel" weak looking legs/ankles/arms before they have a chance to break and if I were you I would do this on your second tiki as well. that way there are no surprises down the road.
