To clarify my point further;

The original news release stated the objects and remaining items from the building would be sold at auction.

I ran into an unnamed fellow collector two weekends ago who told me he met the couple who bought the tiki(s)? from the building. I was aware of only one, but I digress. He told me they normally sold items at the monthly Sacramento antique sale, but weren't there this past sale.

He told me he was unaware Pollardville had any tiki, furthermore, the couple that bought them paid $700.00, were offered $2,000.00 and were going to hold out for $2,400.00.

So much for the people that would have liked to bid and actually cared about having these. It is possible that we may have paid more than $700.00 and in the interest of fair play, it would have been nice if the Pollardville representatives would have honored their original commitment.

No wonder they are selling out! The remaining items posted are a feeble attempt to suck in fans of tiki. Shame on you!
