No real secret, they have 2.4mm (dia) shanks and are used in the handpiece. Most NZ carvers would use these to do their hei-tiki eyes (except Tama!)
I don't know if those are easy to source in the US? Like all my burrs, they are Hongia brand.

I actually forgot, I made another tiki...Luau 400 logo pendant for our own Queen of the Stone Age....might look pretty cool cold painted like the original ??? :)
