Tips for Hukilau first-timers - Other Events

People who are able to help out Hukilau by volunteering a few hours of their time are often given discounts and/or paid admission to the event. It's also a great way to get to meet lots of people, and can be a lot of fun in itself. I have a new tip after last year -- this one is for Hukilau's return visitors: Take the amount of time you think it will take for you to get from any point A to point B at Hukilau, and mulitply it by the number of years you've been to Hukilau.
