Not much from me. Sorry Ive slowed down on the Goodies but as my man Paipo has mentioned, this is 'the season' for us. Orders flying; cross-eyed & sore-necked from sitting at the bench & computer. *Just as well, Chri$tma$ is coming after all...

The BIG Fella isnt really for wearing, more of a display piece. Although, back in the Old Days, the Maori would have thought nothing of wearing a Hei-tiki of this size. Well, not nothing; Im sure they would have been well impressed, but there are surviving examples bigger than this!

As for the woodie. Im not getting very close up am I? -No macro shots just yet! I know a dogs-dinner when I see one, haha

*The reason I hesitate is due to the fact that a lot of non-tiki & heaven forbid 'production 2nds' find their end listed cheaply on... this particular site.

Re: the nameless 'other' auction site listings. Yes, prices are in NZ$. There is a lot of cheap/nasty pounamu on there that really bugs me, but slowly better work is creeping in. Giving me a run for my money these days actually!
The site recently became Australian owned & now allows members from there.

**The 'His n Hers' toki are also from the same block of super-dark Kawakawa that your wee Tiki came from!! Something must have drawn you...
There is also a very good chance that the Tiki with Matau wont sell, in which case Ill contact you. Im pretty proud of that one myself!!

So as I was saying, not much from me. Very busy but mainly non-tiki and non-interesting at the moment.
Moments away from starting something for KTD (be in touch soon)...

And spent a couple of hours on Kon-Tama yesterday. He's fair 'rabid' to be finished... tried to bite me! :lol:
