Okay now I'm PISSED!! I just heard on the radio that next week all of the remaining members of The Doors will be at the Whisky in L.A. to unveil a plaque designating it as a NATIONAL LANDMARK. The Whisky no doubt deserves this accolade, but doesn't (didn't) CBGB? Am I crazy or does Los Angeles have more regard for their history than New York? I know L.A. probably has their share of CBGB-like disregard for some things that should still be standing, but the timing of this really makes me feel like I got a baseball bat in the privates. Well...not that bad but you know what I'm talking about. Frickin NYC re-development cretins. NYC..the 'Y' stands for YUPPIE!!!!

Anyway, Cammo if you're reading this, tell me about the Pyramid scene your talking about. I'd be interested to hear about that, and I'm not being sarcastic. I didn't know that they did that kind of stuff there. I saw a few local bands in there and a friend of mine actually saw Nirvana play there in the early 90s. I didn't know they did Off-Broadway there.
