True, it was mentioned in just about every story I have read from every major news outlet. I'll believe it when I see it. Hilly isn't the best of health right now. Apparently he's being treated for lung cancer. Compared to about a year ago he looked very frail yesterday, his hair was gone and he's walking with a cane. I hope he's alright.

I heard today that they already took the trademark awning off of the building. I'll probably be seeing that soon...and I'll probably need the Kleenex at that point.

very true.....the last time i heard a place was going to re-open in vegas was the kahiki!! michael and alice we're shopping for a location there a few years back.....i guess we all know that was never going to happen either.....as for CBGB 's...yep- i'll believe it when i'm standing in the middle of the room puking in it because i drank too much in it.....
