Here's the newest tiki freed from a branch of mahogany. My goal is to turn this into a seasoning shaker for the dining room table. It started off as a branch, turned on the lathe and carved for effect. I still need to drill the shaft and finish the carving. This wood is awesome to carve - firm but not too brittle. Hopefully I will have it done by/on the weekend.
