Just wanted to let you know the references to Walgreens that have cropped up in this post were not nescessarily mentioned because someone may have heard that Walgreen's wnated the property. Rather they were made in reference to the fact that a very large and famous Tiki restaurant in Ohio, Kahiki, was ripped down a few years ago, and it was Walgreens that ended up buying the real estate. Additionally, a disturbing number of not-nescessarily-tiki pieces of mid-century Americana seem to end up as Walgreen's when the're demolished. Walgreens hates classic architecture - or just a coincidence? You call it.
