I'm not taking a side, I'm just wondering if I'm missing something here that I'm not familiar with in the world of web-hosting. Would leaving these open to viewing but closed to postings accomplish the exact same thing (without the added dues, of course, which I believe you're entitled to - this being your site and all)?
