Swank, if you want to start off with the minimum amount that you will always use, get a #3 1 1/" fishtail gouge, a 1 1/4" flat chisel, a 3/4" 70 degree V-liner, and a 3/4" #5 gough. Thats 4 tools that you will Always use. Get 2 diferent mallets, one heavy and one that is comfortable to use. Take your time and Post pix every day. Don't get ahead of yourself. You are really doing great.
