I find all the recent use of tikis in advertising, television, and consumer product annoying.

You'll find me escaping from it in a local tiki bar. That's what it's all about to me. The atmosphere, the experience, and the romance of real tiki bars and restaurants. All this product does nothing for me. A tiki by itself just isn't that exciting, it needs the setting and the mood.
